I turned 22 last Saturday! Not only was I surprised with a mini fondant cake at 12AM, I was also surprised with a massive Hello Kitty cake. My birthday falls on the same day as my sister’s (who’s 7yrs older), so we had a double celebration at home as we do every year. This time, we had a small bbq at the hall and probably twice the amount of food that we usually have. It was heartwarming

I’m very much grateful for all the presents I received, especially my camera (from Fiya), cake (from Farah) and diamond necklace (from my mum). I know they all cost a bomb and what moves me even more was how everything just came to me so unexpectedly. Who knew I would be able to consume so much surprises! Hahaa..

Turning 22 was truly memorable, not only for the good but for the bad and ugly too.. as for every happiness, there’s always a downfall. As I said to my sister when she asked if I was happy, I am.. I truly am. I just can’t help that pain deep down in my heart no matter how hard I try to ignore it. It’s overpowering enough for me to forever remember this birthday.

But with all that said, this year was by far the best birthday ever
